Plush Carpet Styles
This type of carpet is usually one solid color. It is the most popular style used in homes and apartments today. You can find practically any color imaginable. When made of nylon this type of carpet cleans easily and will wear well if properly maintained.
Frieze Carpets
This is a cut pile with a very high twist. The yarn is twisted so tightly that they actually curve over at the end creating a textured surface with a knobby appearance. It is excellent for durability & wearability. It is good for high traffic areas. Frieze hides footprints and vacuum marks. This style of carpet is an excellent choice for your home.
Patterned
Carpet comes in so many pattern options! From the tiny dot to the bold, you have hundreds of selections to choose from.
Berber
This has become quite popular in recent years because of its elegant appearance. When choosing this carpet be sure to select one with smaller loops to get the best wear. Large looped Berbers tend to collapse quickly and look worn-out sooner. Berber carpets are not ideal for homes with small children or a domestic pet as this carpet can snag and run easily and are difficult to repair.
